Daniel Clifford Haeffner, 84, of Arnold died Sept. 17, 2022, at his home in Arnold. Mr. Haeffner worked in the accounting department of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He was a Christian. Born June 27, 1938, in Jefferson City, he was the son of the late Stella Barnett and Otto Haeffner.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years: Joyce Haeffner.
He is survived by four children: Danny, Tammy, Steve and Connie; three siblings: Kasel, Carlene and Stella; six grandchildren: Joe, Jodie, Nick, Madison, Jacob and Sydney; and five great-grandchildren: Joe, Abbey, Savannah, Wyatt and Catalaya, with one on the way, Fritsche.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County, immediately followed by funeral services officiated by Pastor Brooks. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
