Damon Paul Dees, 32, of St. Louis died Sept. 5, 2016, in Franklin County. Mr. Dees was a dispatcher for the Kirkwood Police Department. He was a member and senior warden of Algabil-Freedom Masonic Lodge No. 636 and a member of Royal Arch Chapter, Oriental Rabboni Chapter 78, Jeremiah Council 48, Ascalon Commandery 16 and the Knights Templar. Born June 17, 1984, in St. Louis, he was the son of Beverly (Robert) Rath of De Soto and Eric (Susan) Dees of Osage Beach.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Deanna (Adam) Smith of Tulsa, Okla.; a stepsister: Rachela Reeves of St. Louis; his grandparents: Sylvia Huskey of Arnold and Paul Dees of Lebanon; and his aunts and uncles: Mary Huskey and Larry Huskey, both of Arnold, and David (Kristin) Huskey of Foristell.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Paul Huskey and Betty Morgan.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, in St. Louis County. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home. Burial is in the Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis.
