Dale Eugene Wieda, 68, of Arnold died Jan. 2, 2023. Mr. Wieda was a homebody and liked to spend time with his grandchildren. He also liked birdwatching and was a longtime member of the South St. Louis Corkball Club. Born Dec. 16, 1954, he was the son of the late Mabel (Patton) and Dale Lee Wieda.
He is survived by his wife: Linda (Rhodes) Wieda; three children: Stephanie (Paul) King, Shirley (Eric) Knight and Dale (Mikayla) Wieda; nine grandchildren: Connor, Kennedie, Dale, Lelan, Eleanor, Kinley, Annie-lynn, Brandi and Joey; two great-grandchildren; a brother: Vernon Wieda; and two sisters: Rose Meyer and Leigh Ann Rubin.
Visitation will be from noon until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Memorials may be made to any charity. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
