Crantha “Fran” (Moore) Stanfill-Huckabee, 85, of Festus died Nov. 28, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Born May 26, 1937, Mrs. Stanfill-Huckabee was the daughter of the late Ola (Dickey) and Sam Moore.
She was preceded in death by two spouses: John Huckabee and Gerald Stanfill.
She is survived by four children: Tom (Liz) Stanfill of Godfrey, Ill., Karen “Susie” (Ron Watson) Stanfill-Haun of Pevely, Randal Stanfill of Herculaneum and Kimberly Stanfill-O’Neail-Willkerson of Festus; two stepchildren: Debbie Zahner and Scott (Annette) Huckabee; 11 grandchildren: Jerry (Cathy) Stanfill, Debbie (John) Fortney, Jessica Haun, John Haun, Kevin (Lindsey) Stanfill, James (Paige) O’Neail, Gerald (Jacy) O’Neail, Crystal Rousan, Ashley (Robert) Noud, Cory Hamilton and Kelly Hamilton; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister: Carolyn (Roy) McMillan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six siblings: Helen (Pete) McGuire, Elise (Ralph) Niswonger, Margie (Thomas) Rhives, Ralph (Doris) Moore, Alvin (Ruth) Moore and Randall Moore; and a son-in-law: Wayne Wilkerson.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the chapel. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Homes.
