Constance Mary ‘Connie’ Pouliezos, 68, De Soto

Constance Mary “Connie” Pouliezos, 68, De Soto died March 12, 2021, at St. Louis University Hospital. Mrs. Pouliezos was a retired teachers aide at the De Soto School District. Born Jan. 27, 1953, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Leona (Johnson) and Ernest G. “Jerry” Coxwell Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Michael P. Pouliezos.

She is survived by two daughters: Heather Pouliezos and Rachael (Nick) Gibbs, both of De Soto; a sister: Christine (Paul) Long, De Soto; a sister-in-law: Mary Pouliezos; two brothers-in-law: Pat and Tom (Joan Patterson) Pouliezos; five nieces: Jennifer (Joey), Alisa (Ross), Amy (Steve), Casey (Blake), Hailey (Josh); and a nephew: Justin.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Don Coxwell; a sister-in-law: Lynette Pouliezos; two nieces: Chelsey and Cheyenne; and a nephew: Drew.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., De Soto, immediately followed by a memorial service. Memorials may be made to Canines in Crisis, 13976 Klondike Road, De Soto, MO 63020. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
