Cletus Allen Williamson, 94, of Arnold died Oct. 17, 2022. Mr. Williamson owned and operated Arnold Sew and Vac more than 30 years after working for the Singer Sewing Machine Co. for more than 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army in South Korea. He enjoyed following the University of Alabama, golfing and spending time with family and friends. He was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Crenshaw County, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his wives: Gloria Williamson and Janet Smith.
He is survived by 10 children: Thomas (Beverley) Williamson, Rick (Lisa) Smith, Kathy (Sam) Alu, Christy Smith, Michael (Kris) Williamson, Kelly (Walt) Bauer, Greg Williamson, Joel (Debbie) Williamson, Traci Williamson and Staci (Jared) Kaiser; a brother: Bobby (Flora Mae) Williamson; 29 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his longtime companion: Erin Koehler; five siblings: Roy, Emmet, Willie Hugh, Lurlene and Barney; and a grandson: Jesse Lee.
Funeral services were held Oct. 23 at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will Saturday, Oct. 29, at Pineview Cemetery in Pineview, Ala. Arrangements were under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, Fenton.
