Claudine Miller, 88, of Battlefield, formerly of House Springs, died May 20, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Miller and her husband owned and operated Dale’s Spray Service. She was a Sunday School teacher and was a long-time member of Fellowship First Baptist Church in High Ridge. She attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church, serving on the RBC CARES Team, and made toys for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child. Born Aug. 15, 1932, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lyda (Davis) Graftenreed. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dale Miller.
She is survived by four children: Blanche (Bill) White of Chillicothe, Claude (Robin) Miller of Hillsboro, Mendi (Mitch) Behnen of Battlefield and Aaron Miller of House Springs; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother: Louis (Faye) Graftenreed of Ironton; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Loretta Atkinson; and two brothers: Auburn and Jerry Graftenreed.
Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
