Cindy Lou (Benjamin) Walter, 68, of Cedar Hill died June 23, 2022, in Chesterfield. Miss Walter spent her life helping family, friends and strangers and is remembered for her stories and her humor. Born Jan. 26, 1954, in Anchorage, Alaska, she was the daughter of the late Nadine (Howard) Bellamy and Jack (Jackie) Benjamin.
She is survived by her life partner: Pat Yotter; three children: Dawn Walter, Eric Walter and P.J. Kiefer; 10 grandchildren: Kole, Lance, Ella, Kaleb, Austin, Joe, Patrick, Brandon, Travis and David; four siblings: Dale Benjamin, Gail Welliver, Diana Hall and Sara Bellamy; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Marsha Dust, John Benjamin and Matt Bellamy.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 7, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill, followed immediately by funeral services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
