Chester J. “Joey” Boyer Jr., 56, of Affton, formerly of Richwoods and De Soto, died Sept. 16, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Boyer was born Jan. 20, 1962, in St. Louis, the son of Judy (Northcutt) Whitfield and the late Chester J. Boyer Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Annette M. (Manes) Boyer; two children: Sarah Ann (Darrell) Boyer of Fort Sill, Okla., and Caitlyn Manes Boyer of Affton; two grandchildren: Kloe and Emelia Boyer; and a number of siblings, siblings-in-law; nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
Funeral Mass is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (formerly St. George), 4980 Heege Road, in Affton. A celebration of life potluck will follow at 1 p.m. at the CIA Hall, 13468 State Road JJ, north of De Soto.
