Chelsea Lee (Young) Perry, 32, of Imperial died Dec. 17, 2021, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mrs. Perry was a senior principal clerk in the criminal division at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Hillsboro. She was a member of the Lutheran faith, baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold. Born May 15, 1989, in St. Louis County, she was the daughter of Vickie (Ehlers) Scott of Imperial and the late Jim D. Young.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of nine years: Ryan M. Perry of Imperial; two children: Henry R. Perry and Jolene K. Perry, both of Imperial; three siblings: Alisha (Jeremy) Bader of Fenton, Angi (Rowena) Young of Plato and Michael (Melawn) Young of Lebanon; her parents-in-law: Michael and Michelle (Olsen) Perry of Imperial; two brothers-in-law: Shane (Stacie) Perry of St. Charles and Matthew (Brandy) of House Springs; her grandparents-in-law: Wanda Berggren of Hillsboro, Robert and Donna Perry of St. Clair and Kay Olsen of Barnhart; and childhood friends: Kyla Yount and Melissa Prusinowski.
She was preceded in death by four grandparents: Glenn and Jackie Allen and Henry and Erma Ehlers; and a grandfather-in-law: David Olsen.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan 8, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, officiated by Pastor Andy Becker, with a luncheon to follow. Memorials may be made to the Perry Children Benefit Fund, c/o Henry Robert and Jolene Kay Perry, at First State Community Bank, 6021 W. Outer Road, Imperial, 63052.
