Herrmann, Chuck

Charles Shepherd “Chuck” Herrmann, 59, of Hillsboro died April 20, 2015, at his home. Mr. Herrmann graduated from Berkley High School in 1973 and earned an associate degree in CNC programming from Jefferson College in 1996. He was employed with the Hillsboro R-3 School District as a computer hardware specialist for 17 years. He enjoyed music, camping and St. Louis Blues hockey. Born July 8, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Velda and Kenneth Herrmann.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years: Melissa (Shaw) Herrmann, whom he married on June 29, 1991, in Eureka Springs, Ark.; two daughters: Heather Herrmann of St. Charles and Jessica Herrmann of St. Peters; three sons: Kenneth Herrmann of St. Charles, Eric Herrmann of St. Charles and Aaron Herrmann of Hillsboro; two brothers: Jerry Herrmann of Florida and Mike Herrmann of St. Louis; a sister: Susan Shook of St. Louis; and six grandchildren: Samantha, Corrin, Savannah, Georgia, Charles and Carley Herrmann.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Kathy Willis.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at First Baptist Church, 10545 Business 21, in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
