Charles Robert Durr, Sr., 74 of Pevely died May 27, 2018, at his home. Mr. Durr was a Vietnam War-era veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired housekeeper for the VA Medical Centers in St. Louis. Born July 19, 1943, in Steele, he was the son of the late Tommie Lee (Lawhorn) and Earl James Durr.

He is survived by his wife: Jacqueline Ann Froman-Durr of Pevely; two sons: Charles Robert “Robbie” (Leslie) Durr Jr. of Williamsville and Joseph Robert (fiancee Carmen Torrence) Durr of Pevely; three daughters: Karen Kay Durr of Patterson, Stacey Lynn (Mike) Mosman of Affton and Jamie Lee (John Waller) Durr of Piedmont; four brothers; three sisters; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at noon Monday, June 4, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely. Burial is in the NationalCemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
