Charles Otis Lee, 72, Festus
Charles Otis Lee, 72, of Festus died June 14, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Lee worked for Monsanto for more than 35 years as a pipefitter/welder and was a member of Union Local 16. He was a veteran of the U.S. military and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3777 in Crystal City and a member of American Legion Post 253 in Festus. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. Born Nov. 7, 1946, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Arlie (Smith) and Charles T. Lee.
He is survived by a son: Charles O. Lee Jr. of Festus; a daughter: Angela Robbins of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers: Jimmy Lee of Festus and Jerry Lee of De Soto; six sisters: Jeannie (John) Price of Festus, Susie (Rick) Stokes of Festus, Janet (Butch) Kent of Festus, Arlie “Gussie” Pace of Perryville, JoAnn (Ron) Barnett of Festus and Judy Holst of Festus; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Luke Lee; a brother: Earl Lee; a sister: Jackie Moore; and a brother-in-law: Tom Pace.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
