Charles Michael "Chuck" Sanders Sr., 70, died June 15, 2021, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Crystal City. Mr. Sanders had worked construction and was a Masonic Lodge member. He enjoyed fishing, gun collecting, his dog companion, Blu, and "being a cowboy." Born July 20, 1950, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of Betty (Tom) Buscher Black of Crystal City and the late Ray Sanders. He was preceded in death by his wife: Jill Ann (Boyer) Sanders.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by a brother: Mark W. Sanders of Festus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son: Charles Michael "Mike" Sanders Jr; a brother: Anthony "Tony" Sanders; and a stepbrother: John Black.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Monday, June 21, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City
