Charles J. Schalk, 91, of St. Louis died June 28, 2016.
Mr. Schalk was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked 34 years at Anheuser-Busch. Born Jan. 5, 1925, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Karl and Bessie Schalk.
He is survived by a sister-in-law: Jeanette Kalk of Pevely; two nieces: Christine (the late Terry) Robertson and Marie “Charlie” Schalk, both of Pevely; and two great-nephews: Christopher and Cory Robertson, both of Pevely; and other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Marie Rolley; and two brothers: Raymond L. Schalk and Richard Schalk.
Funeral services were held July 6 at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home in St. Louis County, followed by burial in St. Marcus Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Stray Rescue.
