Charles Homer “Chap” Ogle, 92, of Willow Park, Texas, formerly of Hillsboro, died Aug. 27, 2015, in Willow Park. Mr. Ogle was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and was awarded three Bronze Stars for his service. Born Feb. 16, 1923, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Edgar and Violet (Shaw) Ogle. He was preceded in death by his wife: Catherine Jean (Evans) Ogle.
He is survived by two children: Mike (Lisa) Ogle of Aledo, Texas, and Cathy Lovelace of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren: Alex, Christin and Scott; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
