Charles Edward “Chuck” Walden, 67, of Pevely died March 7, 2022, at his home. Mr. Walden was born Jan. 25, 1955, in Marion, Ind., the son of the late Helen L. (Grimm) and Charles Walden. He was preceded in death by his wife: Carol (Martin) Walden.
He is survived by a son: Jason (Jennifer) Balicki of Maryland Heights; two daughters: Michelle (Nick) Livingston of Kokomo, Ind., and Jennifer (Jeff) Munzlinger of Dittmer; four grandchildren: Caitlin Munzlinger, Lucas Munzlinger, Ashley (Kristen) DePung and Emily Kemble; and a great-granddaughter: Winona DePung.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Ashley Sollars.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Amvets Post 42, 690 Joachim Ave., in Herculaneum. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to a veterans organization of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
