Carolyn L. Walters, 70, of De Soto died April 7, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Walters was a certified ophthalmic technician and clinic research coordinator for the Barnes Retina Institute. She also was a member of PEO Chapter IX. Born Oct. 8, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Henry Harper and Betty Harper Eudy and the stepdaughter of the late Edward Eudy.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald Walters of De Soto; a son: Brian Walters of Oakville; a daughter-in-law: Kimberly Walters of Oakville; and two grandchildren: Justin and Ethan.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 15, the funeral home. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum in De Soto. Memorials may be made to P.E.O.
