Carole Gaye (Mounce) Pierce, 77, of Dittmer died Feb. 13, 2023. Mrs. Pierce was a former Christian minister. She enjoyed walking, shopping, getting her hair and nails done, going on adventures and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Born July 23, 1945, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Lucille Mounce.
She is survived by her husband: Paul Pierce; three children: Paul Pierce Jr., Eliana (Robert) Beckler and Donny Pierce; two sisters: Donna Arnette and Barbie Huttman; six grandchildren: Brandon Beckler, Betzee Beckler, Danny Pierce, Ashley Pierce, Zach Pierce and Jeremy Pierce; two great-grandchildren: Elily Rose and Stella; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard Mounce and William Mounce.
A graveside service was held Feb. 20 at St. Martin’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Dittmer. Arrangements were under the direction of Bell Funeral Home in Pacific.
