Carol Jean (Hunt) Meyer, 79, of Eureka died Sept. 21, 2020, at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur. Mrs. Meyer worked for Absorbent Cotton Co./Megas Beauty Care for 37 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Eureka for more than 55 years. Born Sept. 22, 1940, in Marion, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Hayden and Opal (Riley) Hunt.
She is survived by her husband: Vernell Meyer; three children: Rick Bishop, Sherry (Steve) Zotta and Debbie (Russ) Suntrup; four grandchildren: Ben Whitson, and Owen Colton and Wyatt Suntrup; a brother: Jim (Mary) Hunt; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 27) at Central Baptist Church, 601 N. Central Ave., in Eureka. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday (Sept. 28) at the church. Burial will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory in Ballwin.
