Carol Ann (Gorski) Owensby, 77, of Barnhart died May 1, 2020. Mrs. Owensby was an active member of St. John Catholic Church in Imperial. She was the daughter of the late Agnes and Raymond Gorski.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Hershel L. Owensby Sr.; three children: Cheryl (Brian) Wolfmeier, Roger (Karla) Owensby and Hershel (Debbie) Owensby Jr.; two siblings: Mary Ann Gorski and Joan Tolias; seven grandchildren: Christopher (Kaitlynne) Wolfmeier, Corey (Danielle) Wolfmeier, Steven (Abbey) Owensby, Bradly Owensby, Jacob (Mindy) Owensby, Susan Owensby and Daniel Owensby; six great-grandchildren: Teagan, Kale, Wesley, Naomi, Mila and Jameson; and many other family members and friends.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son: Dennis Owensby; two brothers: Robert (“Chick” Wiejaczka survives) Gorski and Raymond (Peggy survives) Gorski.
Visitation will be from 4-p.m., with a prayer service at 7:15 p.m., Monday (May 11) at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A memorial Mass will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church, the St. Vincent de Paul Society or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
