Capt. Vincent G. Vacca, 75, Ste. Genevieve
Capt. Vincent G. Vacca, 75, of Ste. Genevieve died Jan. 25, 2017, at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus. Mr. Vacca was a captain for the Mehlville Fire Protection District. Born Nov. 9, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Vincent and Thelma (Laurie) Vacca.
He is survived by his companion: Donna Ames; a son: Chad (Sheri) Vacca; two daughters: Misti (Mark) Maples and Wendi Chadbourne; a brother: Herman (Carol) Vacca; and seven grandchildren: Morgan, Makenzie, Maxwell, Chloe, Logan, Tyler and Tori.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the funeral home, officiated by Chaplain Jim Hampton. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Open Door Animal Sanctuary, 6065 Duda Road, House Springs, MO 63051. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
