Brooks A. Ramsey, 35, of Fenton died July 23, 2015, at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton. Mr. Ramsey was a chef for several St. Louis area restaurants. He was born Feb. 3, 1980, in Festus, the son of Norman Robert “Bobby” and Angela “Angie” (Elliott) Ramsey of Taylorville, Ill.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Megan, of Fenton; three siblings: Norman Robert “Robby” (Sally) Ramsey of Clarksville, Tenn., Stephanie (Matt) Benton of Summerville, S.C., and Tiffany Ramsey of Taylorsville, Ill.; his grandmother: Daisy Ramsey of Ellington; and four nieces and nephews: Miles O. Ramsey of Clarksville, Tenn., and Josiah T. Benton, Leia Benton and Gibson Benton, all of Summerville, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: William Ramsey and Oscar and Rose Elliott.
A memorial service was held July 26 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
