Brenda Joyce Shoults, 73, Fenton

Brenda Joyce Shoults, 73, of Fenton died Dec. 11, 2022. Mrs. Shoults was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in High Ridge where she helped with church activities. She enjoyed going to craft shows, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her willingness to care for children and to help others. Born Feb. 19, 1949, in Granite City, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Earl Joseph and Marian Francis (Fitzpatrick) Coleman.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years: Robert Shoults.

She is survived by three sisters: Yvonne Prosser of Fenton, Beverly (Richard) Fairless of Lonedell and Garnet (Johnny) Rutledge of Sullivan; three brothers: Garney (Mary) Coleman of Washington, Mo., Terry (Karen) Coleman of Belleville, Ill., and Lindell (Susie) Coleman of Leander, Texas; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services were held Dec. 14 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Moore Funeral Homes in Potosi.
