Brandi J. Helms, 34, of Fredericktown died Jan. 16, 2015, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Ms. Helms was a registered nurse at Madison Memorial Hospital. Born July 17, 1980, in Evansville, Ind., she was the daughter of Mike (Rachel) Allen of Sharpsville, Ind., and Sandra (Tommy) Harrison of Hendersonville, Tenn. She was baptized Nov. 8, 1992, into the Lincoln Hills Baptist Church in Rockport, Ind.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancé: Joseph Ware of Fredericktown; two children: Colton and Kylee Helms of Fredericktown; three half brothers: Mike Allen Jr., Steven Allen and Jacob Allen, all of Sharpsville, Ind.; and two grandmothers: Tillie Allen of De Soto and Ernestine Allen of Chandler, Ind.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers: William Allen and Lowell Allen.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home, with Jim Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
