Bonnie Marlene Switcher, 67, of De Soto died Sept. 21, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Switcher worked as a quality control manager for Bausch and Lomb, as well as for Bonnie and Clyde Services. She was Catholic. Born Dec. 5, 1952, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Roy Spangler and Lavetta Marie Spangler.
She is survived by her husband: Donald Clyde Switcher of De Soto; four children: Richard Forshee of De Soto, Renee (Paul) Killian of Festus, Shella (Bill) Pamplin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Kristen (Pete) Spaunhorst of Washington; two brothers: Reese (Charlotte) Large of Winter Haven, Fla., and Clayton Spangler of De Soto; seven grandchildren: Andrea and Cody Killian, Mikaylia and Blake Forshee, Hannah and Jake Pamplin, and Max Spaunhorst; a great-granddaughter: Briella Killian; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday (Sept. 25) at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
