Bonnie “Jeannie” Parks, 81, of De Soto, formerly of Pevely, died June 17, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Parks was a waitress for Famous-Barr in the South County Mall. She enjoyed dancing, music, horses, her Shih tzu puppies and watching NASCAR racing. Born Dec. 3, 1939, in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Anna Laura Reed and Leonard Lloyd Welch.
She is survived by two daughters: Sheri Kennedy and Tracie, both of De Soto; a granddaughter: Cheryl Ann Eisenhauer; and a great-grandson: Ethan Eisenhauer.
A memorial gathering is at 1 p.m. until a memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely, officiated by the Rev. David Duncan. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
