Bonnie Jean House, 92, of Barnhart died Aug. 23, 2025. Born Oct. 9, 1932, in St. Louis, Mrs. House was the daughter of the late James B. and Zora (nee Merritt) Eades.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Samuel J. House Sr.
She is survived by three children: Samuel J. (Polly) House Jr., Thomas M. (Diana) House and David D.E. House; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three siblings: Wanda Picker, Rosemary Miller and Jacqueline (Ronald) Mattola; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a child: Catherine House; and a grandchild: Danielle Schrepel.
Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Parkton Assembly of God, 1670 Hwy. M, in Barnhart. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
