Bobby Earl Kifer, 80, of Imperial died May 18, 2022, in Imperial. Mr. Kifer was a meat cutter and a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Seckman Road Baptist Church in Imperial. Born April 2, 1942, in Neelyville, he was the son of the late Lily (Bates) and Freeman Kifer.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Henrietta (Jones) Kifer; a daughter: Becky Kifer of Burbank, Calif.; a sister: Shirley (Al) Oliver; three sisters-in-law: Roberta Helms and Sandra and Gloria Kifer; five nieces: Angie English, Bobbie Ann Zaleski, Diane Brunkhorst, Susan Black and Annette Kifer; three nephews: Kenny, David and J.R. Kifer; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Billy, Donny and Jackie Kifer; two brothers-in-law: Joe Helms and Ken Barker; and a sister-in-law: Darlene Kifer.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, May 27, at Baue Funeral Home, 3950 W. Clay St., in St. Charles, followed immediately by funeral services. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Dementia Society of America or the de Greeff Hospice House.
