Billy Ray Warren, 79, of Festus died Oct. 12, 2022, in Festus. Mr. Warren was a building and grounds supervisor for the De Soto School District before he retired. Born Oct. 9, 1943, in Sikeston, he was the son of the late Bertha Mae (Harper) and Shirley Lee Warren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Warren.
He is survived by a son: Rodney (Joy) Warren of Festus; a daughter: Sonya (Roger) Warren-Lewis of Festus; two brothers: Bobby (Joan) Warren of Jonesburg and Eugene (Laverne) Warren of Morley; two sisters: Helen Warren-Goings of St. Louis and Dolly Warren-Hutson of Jackson; a grandson: Joshua; two granddaughters: Ellie and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: John, Lester and Charles Warren.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 Main St., in De Soto. Services will be private, with Derry Bowling officiating. Burial will be private in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
