Bill Medley Jr., 73, of Byrnes Mill died Dec. 12, 2020, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mr. Medley had a career with UAW posts 110 and 136, along with the International Union, representing his fellow workers as an International Union representative. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in High Ridge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, and watching sports and old cowboy movies. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and others. Born May 11, 1947, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Billie and June (Luck) Medley.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Joyce (VonDerAhe) Medley, whom he married Nov. 26, 1964, in High Ridge.
He is survived by three children: Scott Medley of Byrnes Mill, Kim (Paul) Lakamp of High Ridge and Jacob (Danielle) Medley of Arnold; three grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Zachary and Madi; eight siblings: Alice, Winnie, Diane, Charlotte, Gary, Teri, Guy and Suzy; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from noon until a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Monday (Dec. 21) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
