Betty Ann (Smith) Link, 62, Barnhart
Betty Ann (Smith) Link, 62, of Barnhart died Sept. 8, 2021, in St. Louis County. Mrs. Link was raised in south St. Louis and graduated from Hancock High School in 1977 and attended St. Louis Community College. She worked as a daycare director for Gray Summit Preschool and A to Z preschool. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Hillsboro, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with family. Born April 13, 1959, in Lemay, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dolores (Baldwin) Smith.
She is survived by her husband: Dale Alan Link of Barnhart; four sons: Aaron R. (Barb) Bartholome of Imperial, Matthew A. Link of Benton, Ill., Zacharaiah E. (Heather) Link of Arnold and Jeremiah D. (Virginia) Link of Arnold; six grandchildren: Lydia, Norah, Naomi, Micaiah, Jayne and Violet; a brother: Harry (Sandy) Smith of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters: Barbara (Jesse) Ochoa of Imperial and Paula O’Neil of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Catherine (Smith) Cleve; and a brother-in-law: Walter Clever.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday (Sept. 10) at Highland Baptist Church, 5030 Highland Baptist Church Road, in Hillsboro. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 11) at the church.. Burial will be in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to a children’s charity of the giver’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
