Beth Ann Marmon, 54, of Festus died Dec. 19, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Marmon was a travel agent for McFarland Travel and an avid world traveler. Born Nov. 1, 1962, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Judith “Judy” (Walls) Lowe of Festus. She was preceded in death by her former husband: Russell L. “Butch” Marmon Jr.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son: Christopher (Tiffanie) Marmon of Crystal City; a brother: Mark (Donna) Lowe of Festus; an uncle: Chuck Belcher of St. Simons Island, Ga.; a niece: Sarah Lowe of Nashville, Tenn.; a nephew: Matt Lowe of Imperial; two uncles: Richard (Shannon) Walls of Columbia and Wilson (Judy) Lowe of Bowling Green, Ky.; and friends Suzy Brase of San Diego, Calif., Christy Stites of Crystal City and Karen Miersch of Festus.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents: Wilson (the late Bessie) Lowe and Charles (the late Dorothy) Walls; two uncles: Eddie Lowe and Allen Lowe; and an aunt: Mary Katherine Belcher.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus. A funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. James Gray. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Ozark Food Pantry. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
