Barbara Sue (Reiser) Syers, 56, Byrnes Mill

Barbara Sue (Reiser) Syers, 56, of Byrnes Mill died Jan. 7, 2023, in Byrnes Mill. Mrs. Syers was an active member of her church and community. Born July 6, 1966, in St. Charles, she was the daughter of the late Connie (Courtney) and Gerald Reiser.

She is survived by her husband: Dave Syers; two children: Jessica (Rusty) Rider and Kyle (Cassie Shrewsbury) Syers; five sisters: Mary (Matt) Medina, Kathy Reiser, Theresa (Gilbert) Canania, Peggy (Steve) Kedzior and Debbie (Dave) Peters; two brothers: Joe (Dee) Reiser and Jerry Reiser; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, in House Springs immediately followed by a funeral service. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace House Springs Youth Activities/Hope Builders, La Salle Retreat Center or St. Louis ACTS Missions. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
