Barbara Sue Craig, 75, of De Soto died Sept. 29, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Craig was a retired checkout supervisor and a member of the accounting department at the De Soto Walmart. Born Aug. 6, 1943, in De Soto, she was the daughter of Doris K. (Roussin) and Calvin H. Washburn.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert L. Craig.
She is survived by a son: Paul Lee (Kim) Craig of Danville, Ky.; two brothers: Jim (Diane) Washburn of De Soto and Daniel Washburn of De Soto; a sister-in-law: Cathy (Roger) Jarvis of Mineral Point; five grandchildren: Michael (Heather) Rains, Eric (Jessica) Rains and Kyle, Andrew and Emily Craig; and four great-grandchildren: Alexander, Ethan, Matthew and Abigail.
She was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law: Nina Washburn and Grace Wyley; and three brothers-in-law: Floyd Craig, Roy Craig and Ralph Craig.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Chaplain Cody Alley. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the De Soto Food Pantry, P.O. Box 522, De Soto MO 63020, or Mercy Hospital Jefferson Hospice, 5 Industrial Drive, Festus MO 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
