Barbara Marie (Burian) Milburn, 53, of Bismarck died Sept. 17, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Milburn was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Park Hills, as well as a Christian volunteer and Sunday school. She was a gourmet cook and enjoyed making meals for others, delivering them in a big basket. She made stained glass figures and ornaments and helped make stained glass windows for Emmanuel Baptist Church in De Soto. She also was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.
Born May 28, 1965, in Kirkwood, she was the daughter of Glen and Susan (Telle) Roux of Bismarck and the late Donald E. Burian.
She also is survived by her husband of 29 years: Bruce Milburn of Bismarck; six siblings: Carolyn (Bob) Gott of House Springs, Mike (Nancy) Roux of Springfield, Ill., Suzanne Emmons of St. Clair, Dianne Martin of North Augusta, S.C., Julia (Richard) Grayson of Hillsboro and Linda (Jim) Easter of Park Hills; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Calvin and Joanne Milburn of Bismarck; and many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
She was preceded in death by four grandparents: Frank Burian, Bernartha (Ober) Burian, Margaret (Hummel) Wagner and Jarvis Telle; and three uncles: Robert Burian, Tom Telle and Stevie Wagner.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the celebration of life at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at First Baptist Church, 12 Coffman St., in Park Hills, officiated by Pastor Josh Wilson. Ashes will be spread at an undisclosed location. Memorials may be made to Preferred Hospice, 810 Progress Drive, Farmington 63640.
