Barbara L. Bobbie (Schneider) Gould of Valle Lake died Feb. 22, 2017. Mrs. Gould and her husband, Fred Gould, were the owners and operators of the Goulosh Flea Market on Main Street in De Soto for many years. Residents may remember the 15-foot-tall knight in armor that stood in front of the store.
Mrs. Gould is survived by six children: Rhonda (the late Rocky) Reise, Terri (Ed) Smetana, Doree (Ron) Rogers, Dianna (Tom) Tranchilla, Andrea (Bob) Stumborg and Kurt Losh; five stepchildren: Cathy (Mike) Berg, Carol (Michael) Wibbenmeyer, Margie (Bill) Hays, JoAnn (Brit) Stoskopf and Mary (Mark) Wingate; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two siblings: Betty Bernard and Mike Schneider; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Pete Schneider, Johnny Schneider and Cathy Canova.
Visitation is at 2 p.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
