Barbara Ellen Schoenlaub, 69, of St. Louis died May 25, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Schoenlaub was a member of the Herculaneum United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with family, and she enjoyed reading, following St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball, butterflies and traveling with her husband, especially their trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn. Born Aug. 17, 1952, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucille (Duffin) Milne.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years: Carl Schoenlaub of St. Louis; a daughter: Joannah (Paul) Kuhlenberg of Festus; a daughter-in-law: Kristie Burke; a sister: Cathy Pieper of Pevely; two grandchildren: Shawn Michael Morman Jr. and Kaitlyn Morman; eight nieces and nephews: William (Lori) Poe, Todd Pieper, Troy Pieper, Chris (Lisa) Pieper, Holly (Rickey) Pesek, Eric (Brandy) Pieper, Danielle (Brandon) Weinrich, Megan Milne; and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by a son: Shawn Morman; a sister: Judith Poe; and a brother: Michael Milne.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Herculaneum United Methodist Church, 672 Main St., in Herculaneum. Memorials may be made to The Butterfly House in Chesterfield or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
