Barbara Ann Shockley, 56, of De Soto died Dec. 11, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Miss Shockley, a 1983 graduate of Herculaneum High School, worked for Walmart for 25 years, retiring as a warehouse manager for store on Telegraph Road in south St. Louis County. She was an animal lover and a Miami Dolphins fan. Born Nov. 6, 1964, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of JoAnn (Sadorf) Keown of Pevely and the late Gerald Norman Shockley Sr.
She is survived by a sister: Tina M. (Patricia Ribaudo) Shockley of Affton; two brothers: Gerald N. Shockley Jr. of Affton and Patrick M. (Lisa) Shockley of Festus; four nephews: Adam, Nathan, Austin (Jordan) and Jordan Shockley; and two great-nephews: Jaxon and Easton Shockley.
A memorial service will be held later. Memorials may be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, 2320 Pine St., St. Louis 63103. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus.
