Barbara Ann Johnson, 74, of Cedar Hill died June 20, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Johnson was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of St. Martin's United Church of Christ in Dittmer. She was creative and loved to garden, quilt, knit, embroider and paint. She also loved her cats, especially Taz, whom she rescued from a storm drain.

Born Feb. 2, 1944, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn (Kipp) and Arthur Knorpp.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years: Larry Johnson of Cedar Hill; three children: Terri O'Donnell of Arnold, Annie Marie (Brent) Gann of Arizona and Kenny (Lawonda) Bush of Arnold; five grandchildren: Brad O'Donnell, Sam O'Donnell, Ellissa Gann, Daniele James and Nick Fuse; and two great-grandchildren: Skyler Ingram and Lilly O’Donnell.

She was preceded in death by one brother: Ray Knorpp.

Visitation is at noon and a funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at St. Martin’s United Church of Christ, 7890 Dittmer Ridge Road, in Dittmer, officiated by the Rev. Scott Lohse. Memorials may be made to a garden fund in Mrs. Johnson’s name at St. Martin’s United Church of Christ.
