Austin Robert Burch, 27, of Crystal City died April 20, 2022, in Pevely. Mr. Burch loved spending time with his family and friends. He was artistic and passionate about ideas, writing, drawing and especially about music. He enjoyed taking car rides and dining out with his Grandma Burch and Aunt Lana. He will be remembered as a happy person who liked to make others smile. Born Dec. 6, 1994, in St. Louis, he was the son of Tracey (Douglas) Thomas-Palos of Festus and Robert Burch of Crystal City.
He is survived by three children: Arwen Delahon, Jaxson Gerber and Aria Wheless; two sisters: Lindsey (Jared) Schneider of Festus and Julia (Shane) Ochs of DeSoto; two stepsiblings: Malia (Brandon) Bates of Park Hills and Jaden Palos of Pevely; grandparents Terry (Dorrine) Douglas of Belleville, Ill., Vickie (Mark) Haring of Arnold and Frances “Lil” (the late Robert) Burch of Crystal City; and many other family members.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the memorial service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W Main St., Festus, officiated by Pastor John Polk. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
