Anna Marie Pogue, 86, of De Soto died March 14, 2017, at the Villas in De Soto. Ms. Pogue was a welder with Tempest in St. Louis. She was of the Baptist faith and was an avid animal lover and bird watcher. Born Aprill 11, 1930, in Fredericktown, she was the daughter of the late Corbitt and Mamie (Brady) Berry.
She is survived by a daughter: Joyce (Alfred) Guenther of Olympian Village; a brother: Roy Berry of Fredericktown; five grandchildren: Tom, Patty, Jeanette, Tiffany and Tony; nine great-grandchildren: Candice, Cassandra, Abby, Hanna, Mitchell, Christian, Cambra, Laike and Bryant; and two great-great-grandchildren: Cami and Andrew
She was preceded in death by a son: Daymon “Eddie” Pogue; a brother: William “Sonny” Berry; and her special friend of 30 years, George Davis.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main, in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
