Anita D. Ruble, 90, of De Soto died Jan. 3, 2017, at Baisch Nursing Center. Mrs. Ruble was a homemaker and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Born June 15, 1926, in Peoria, she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Anna (Mosier) Horton. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul H. Ruble.
She is survived by one son: Rick (Glenda) Ruble of Pevely; one daughter: Paula (Dick) Tuhro of Ballwin; four grandchildren: Dr. Craig (Therese) Ruble, Dr. Chad (Kristen) Ruble, Jerrod (Kelly) Dorsey and Julia Johnson; and seven great-grandchildren: Joshua, Nathan, Elena, Lucas, Jacob, Matthew and Michael. She was preceded in death by two siblings: Quentin Horton and Averill Maness; and her step-father: William Henry Murray.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, at First Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at First Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Brother Bob Thebeau. Burial will be in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
