Andrew Jeffrey Katz, 38, De Soto

Andrew Jeffrey Katz, 38, of De Soto died Dec. 6, 2021, in Jefferson County. Mr. Katz worked in construction. Born Aug. 10, 1983, in Creve Coeur, he was the son of Latty Gail (Elsey) Katz of De Soto and the late Jeffrey Joseph Katz.

He is survived by a sister: Jessica (Staff Sgt. James) Braddy of Fort Sill, Okla.; his grandmother: Janet Katz; three nephews: Austin and Chase Gerlach and Mason Braddy and two nieces: Brinley and Bailey Braddy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph Katz and Clarence “Walton” and Audrey “Dutchie” Elsey.

Funeral services were held Dec. 11 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Kevin McGuire. Burial was in the Victoria Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, De Soto.
