Alan L. Crump, 65, of Piedmont died Nov. 17, 2014, at his home. Mr. Crump was a retired Chrysler UAW worker and a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army. Born May 8, 1949, in Arkansas, he was the son of the late Genieva (Stormes) and Harold Crump.
He is survived by two children: Charles (Angela) Crump of Sandwich, Ill., and Cathy Wallace of Hillsboro; seven siblings: Rose Dickinson of Pevely, Sheila (Butch) Hammer of Ohio, Steve (Gena) Crump of Branson, Gary (June) Crump of Arnold, Bill Crump of Belvidere, Ill., Harold Crump of Lovely and Phil (Marla) Crump of Lovely; four grandchildren: Cole of Sandwich, Ill., Zackery of Festus, Jorden of Festus and Jacob of Hillsboro; and one great-grandchild: Claire.
He was preceded in death by two siblings: Terry Crump and Larry Crump.
A memorial service is being planned at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, officiated by Randall Jackson.
