A St. Louis County teenager was hurt in a single-car accident Saturday morning (March 14) on Hwy. W near the Fox Run Golf Course in the Hoene Springs area.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Jack Hosick, 19, of Wildwood was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry west on Hwy. W near Patty Drive at 10:50 a.m. when the car slid off the roadway and the front of the car struck the ground.

Hosick suffered moderate injuries and was taken by the Eureka Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.

An update on his condition was not available.

He was wearing a seat belt, the report said. The Camry had extensive damage.
