The Hope Players will perform a mystery dinner play, “Dead in Deadwood” as a fundraiser for Mary’s House of Hope, which will provide transitional housing for victims of domestic violence.
The play will begin at 7 p.m. Friday (Oct. 12) at the TBC Venue, 8721 Commercial Blvd., Pevely.
Tickets are $25 and include dinner. A cash bar will be open.
The play is set in a saloon in South Dakota, home to some of the strangest outlaws this side of the Black Hills. The audience’s job is to help solve a murder there.
Proceeds will be used to benefit Mary’s House of Hope at A Safe Place, a shelter for domestic violence victims operated by Comtrea. The group was formed after the murder of Mary Daniels more than seven years ago.
