Jilly’s Café and Steakhouse will hold a St. Baldrick’s Head Shaving Event from 12-4 p.m. Saturday (March 3) at the restaurant, 1630 Gravois Road, in High Ridge. Proceeds will go toward childhood cancer research.
Volunteers are needed to raise money and get their heads shaved, and volunteer licensed stylists are needed to shave people’s heads. Donations of items for auctions and raffles are also needed.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding research to find cures for childhood cancers. The foundation coordinates its signature head-shaving events worldwide where participants collect pledges to shave their heads in solidarity with children with cancer, raising money to fund research.
