If you owe the Jefferson County Library fines for overdue materials, you can erase the debt this weekend by donating canned foods to be donated to local food pantries.
All three library branches, including the Arnold, Northwest and Windsor branches, are holding “Food for Fines” amnesty weekend from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Saturday (July 26-27).
For each donated canned good, library patrons will get to deduct $1 from their library fine debt.
For more information, call 636-296-2204 (Arnold), 636-677-8186 (Northwest) or 636-461-1914 (Windsor).
