A fundraising trivia night will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. Saturday (June 23) in the cafeteria at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 4696 Notre Dame, in House Springs. Admission is $40 for a table of eight or $7 a person.
The trivia night will include raffles. It’s a family-friendly event, so no alcohol is allowed.
Proceeds from the event will benefit a new nonprofit organization called Finding Grace Ministries, which works to prevent child sexual exploitation and sex trafficking.
“We provide in-depth training on what tactics predators use and what guardians should be looking for,” said Doreen Page, founder of the organization. “A part of this prevention is to provide a safe place to access services and basic needs in Jefferson County.”
She said the trivia night will provide funds for that effort.
